Residential Small Group Counselor: Provide 24-hour supervision for 6-10 campers in a small group setting. Together with a co-counselor, plan and lead outdoor activities and daily small group Bible studies. Encourage the development of Christian community and individual character. During the summer, work with a variety of ages (grades 1-12) and a variety of themed and specialty programs. Training provided.
Summer Naturalist: Design and lead age-appropriate nature activities and programs for grades 1-12. Connect campers and staff with the natural world. Incorporate summer curriculum theme into nature activities. Teach and model care for creation.
Summer Art Specialist: Design and lead a summer art program that connects campers (grades 1-12) and staff with summer 2018 theme “Power Up.” A repertoire of art projects should include age-appropriate visual, ceramic and tactile projects. Experience with ceramic arts is helpful.
Summer Music Specialist: Plan, organize, and lead musical activities for grades 1-12. Teach hands-on music sessions. Lead campfire singing, traditional camp songs, and music for worship. Ability to play keyboard or guitar is helpful.
Lifeguard: Responsible for safe operation of Camp Asbury’s natural waterfront and aquatic activities at camp. Responsible for safety of aquatic activities on day-trips off-site. Provide leadership for general camp activities. Ability to teach canoeing or kayaking skills is helpful.
