Summer 2020 at Camp Asbury

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic Camp Asbury and its related camps, Camp Aldersgate and Camp Wanake, have made the very difficult decision to cancel the 2020 summer camp program. East Ohio Camps leadership team has unanimously reached the conclusion that we cannot operate summer camp this year in a way that keeps both staff and campers safe this summer. At Camp Asbury hospitality remains our mission. Our world has changed and we all will find ways to adapt to the change. The lives of many of us are internally guided by the experiences, laughter, and sacred moments of community that we have shared at camp. We will find new ways to return to these sacred things in a COVID-19 world.
